  • PIN Code for DPD Deliveries

    How it works

After your order is processed, you'll receive the PIN code by email or SMS from DPD. On the day of delivery, the driver will ask for the PIN code, which they'll enter into their scanner. If you provide the correct PIN, the driver will release the parcel.

What to do if you can't provide the PIN

If you can't provide the PIN, the driver can resend it to your email or mobile number. If you still can't provide the PIN, the driver will try again the next working day. You can also change the delivery date using the DPD app.

IMPORTANT: DPD will only attempt delivery TWICE before returning your parcel back to us. If your parcel is returned back to us, you will be charged another shipping fee to have it re-delivered, so please ensure that there is someone available at time of delivery to give the driver the PIN.

    Why use a PIN code

The PIN code acts as a personal identification number to make deliveries more secure. The parcel can't be left safe or delivered to a neighbor without a PIN.

Providing the scooter has not been assembled and not used outdoors, we would honour our standard returns policy over the Christmas period.

  • I'm buying for Christmas, does your packaging reveal its contents??

Yes, our packaging does show whats inside the box...so it maybe worthwhile making sure that the "lucky person/s" are not close by when the courier rings the doorbell!

PLEASE NOTE: We advise building the scooter/balance bike in advance of the big day or to at least check all the box contents beforehand to allow us plenty of time to get any problems rectified if necessary.

Suitability

  • What age and height are LIFERYDER Scooters suitable for?

Our Infinity scooters are designed for girls and boys between the ages 5yrs to 15yrs.

This is only guidance as we know everyone is different in stature and ability. We use height and weight to help parents gauge suitability. Our INFINITY scooter is Class B rated = 50kg max weight.

If your child measures between 110cm to 160cm tall and weighs between 20kg and 50kg you will be totally fine. As a rule of thumb the handlebars should be set in line with the rider's waist height.

There are 3 handlebar height settings measured from the foot deck of the scooter (Min 75cm - Mid 80cm - Max 85cm). Measure the height of your child's waist from the floor to help gauge suitability.

Please note with our background in engineering we have designed and tested our scooters to be very strong. Although this is not an adult scooter, we have had reports of adults riding the scooters (shame on you :-) with weights over 50kg without issues.

Disclaimer: LIFERYDER Ltd accept no liability for accident, damage or injury to person(s) using our scooter(s) whom are outside the recommended usage weight and height guidelines.

  • What age and height are LIFERYDER Balance Bikes suitable for?

Our Vogue Balance Bike is designed for children between the ages of 18 months - 5yrs.

Guidelines: We use inseam height and weight to help parents gauge suitability. The balance bike has an adjustable seat height range of between 32cm - 45cm from the floor (also known as inseam height range) and a max rider weight of 30kg.

  • What's the best age to start riding a Balance bike?

If your child can walk, chances are they can start to learn how to ride a balance bike. Between 18 months and 2 years old is the ideal age for kids to start. This is the average age range when a child is physically and developmentally ready to start balancing a bike.

  • Are your scooters suitable for Stunts or Tricks?

Our Scooters are not designed for stunts or tricks they are all terrain cruisers.

Small jumps, wheelies and bunny hops are achievable but the "anti jack-knife" steering mechansim restricts the handlebars from fully rotating 360 degrees, this makes them safer for younger riders but not really suitable for tricks.s.

Assembly

  • Do I need to assemble my Scooter or Balance bike?

Yes, but don't worry. Our clever design makes it easy to assemble. It's just like LEGO...you might actually enjoy it :-)

Every scooter and balance bike is supplied with an easy to follow detailed step-by-step instruction manual.

Wheels and tyres come fully fitted and inflated.

  • Do the graphics come pre-applied?

No, but fear not... we want you to decorate your ride because this is what makes it personal.

The graphics are made from a special durable "adhesive back" material which is easy to apply and can be removed and re-positioned multiple times.

As and when the rider gets older or fancies a change of style, the graphics can be removed and replaced with a new design!

Each graphic has its own identification number and a corresponding position on the product. All the graphics are pre-cut to shape.

Don't worry if you don't get them positioned perfectly the first time, just peel them off and try again.

  • How easy is it to collapse / fold the scooter?

Please note this is not a fast folding scooter. Our collapsing design allows the frame to fold in half for compact transportation, for example when taking on holiday's or in the boot of a car etc...

In order to collapse the scooter you need to undo two bolts and remove one completely using the Allen hex key provided.

The procedure is really straight forward and is explained in visual step by step detail within the owners manual provided.

  • Do you offer an assembly service?

No sorry... but don't panic, the provided "step-by-step" assembly instructions are very easy to follow... similar to a LEGO set.

By assembling the scooter yourself you benefit by understanding its construction and thus making it easy during any maintenance or if any handlebar adjustments are required in the future.

If for any reason the above is still out of your realm, we recommend contacting your local bicycle shop before purchase, as many of the mechanics are happy to carry out the assembly for a small charge.

  • Are replacement parts available for purchase?

    Yes, all parts are available.

The main consumable items are available to buy via our online store.

If you've done a bit of damage or lost a part which isnt listed just drop us a message through our contact page and well get you hooked up :-)

  • My Balance Bike didn't have Valve Caps, why not?

Due to safety regulations we do not supply valve / dust caps with our balance bikes as they are labelled as age appropriate for children under 3 years of age.

Miscellaneous

  • Do you have a shop where i can view the scooters?

Unfortunately not, we are online sales only at present. We encourage people to visit our Facebook page or Trustpilot to read all the "real life" reviews and recomendations in order to help in making a purchasing decision.

Please note: Although we offer a click and collect service at our manufacturing facility,  due to health and safety measures, members of the public are not allowed to visit without a prior appointment.

  • Are your scooters electric?

No, all our scooters are human powered, batteries are not required :-)

We encourage children to go out, play and burn off energy, its good for their mind, body and soul.

  • Does your Balance bike have a brake?

No, but it's for good reason...

Balance bikes simplify the learning process of riding a bike for young children by allowing them to focus on devoloping one skill at a time. This avoids the complexity of mastering pedaling, balancing, steering, and pulling brake levers all at once, which can be very challenging for 18-month to 2-year-olds. Including a mechanical brake at this stage of learning can lead to confusion, accidents and a false sense of security for parents.

Children gradually progress from sitting stationary on the bike with their feet on the ground to moving their feet forward while practicing balance and steering. This approach greatly improves their experience whilst developing motor skills and co-ordination.

Balance bikes rely on children using their feet for both propulsion and stopping. The primary focus is on developing balance and learning to use body weight for steering and stopping.

  • Do you make adult scooters?

We currently do not offer scooters for adults, however with our background in engineering, design and manufacture we may look into this for the future...watch this space!

  • Can I buy the silver (chrome) scooters shown in the promo video?

The silver (aluminium) scooters shown in the promo video and some photographs were limited edition early prototypes.

Unfortunately they are not available to purchase.

The images shown in the store are representative of the scooters now on sale made from our special black composite material.

  • What does composite mean?

A composite is a material combining two or more materials with different physical and chemical properties.

When they are combined they create a material which is specialised to do a certain job, for instance to become stronger and lighter. They can also improve durability and stiffness too.

  • Who are the LIFERYDER family?

Hopefully you soon! We aim to build a wider community of LIFERYDER's, please share your adventure pics on our social media pages.

See About page for more information about us or visit our Facebook page for real life customer reviews and pics...

  • How is LIFERYDER good for the planet?

Every part of the INFINITY scooter is replaceable, so you can enjoy many years of use. They're also designed to be fully recycled too. This is part of the circular economy principal.

Broken or damaged parts and even complete scooters which have reached the end of their service life can be sent back to us. We can then turn them into brand new parts, so no LIFERYDER scooter should ever be unnecessarily disposed of.

Even the tyres we use are made from recycled rubber, look out for the "Green Guard" logo on the side walls.

Finally, all our packaging is made from cardboard and is designed to be fully recycled too.
